Artist Supplies
As an artist, you should know it is very important to find the right artist supplies for the project you intend to work on. Without the correct materials, the project will not turn out to be what you envision. So, when it comes to finding the right materials, how can you go about it?
There are many ways, starting with the most obvious. You can go to any artist supplies store in your area to find just about anything you may need for a project, but if you do not live close to one or the prices tend to be a bit too much for your pocketbook, you can turn to the Internet. The Internet is a great source for different artist supplies.
You should be able to find just about any kind of supplies you need on the World Wide Web and some at outrageously good prices. It gives you an opportunity to shop at outlet companies that may not be located in your area as well. All in all, it is a good way to save time and money. However, you can not just go and start ordering artist supplies online if you do not know who you are doing business with. When looking into artist supplies companies online, remember to make sure their website offers complete contact information along with other company information. Make sure that you check with the Better Business Bureau online to make sure they are on the up and up too.
By taking these steps, you can ensure a good business relationship when it comes to purchasing the artist supplies that you need, without the hassle of having to lose money or products with companies before you find one that will treat you right. After all, we are talking about the Internet here and anyone can hide behind a Website. That is why it is so important to check up on the companies you will be spending money with. You certainly do not want to pay for artist supplies that you will never receive, and you do not want to pay for items that are shipped, but are not the right supplies or even close to the art supplies that you ordered. By making sure the company is legitimate, you will be doing yourself a favor in the long run by saving time, energy, and hard earned money.
Artists are said to be much like athletes. When an athlete finds the right shoe or equipment they stick with it for years. The same can be said with artist supplies. If the materials are good quality and give the desired results an artist will want to use the same brands over and over again, so it’s crucial to find what you need at a price you can live with.

2 Way Radios
Are you one of those gadget nuts? You know, the kind of guys who like to buy every new electronic advice known to man. Okay, sorry ladies. I know there are also some female gadget nuts out there. Anyway, what is your absolute favorite innovation?
I think it's safe to say that we all have that particular device that we can't get along without. For me it is my Mac Ibook G4. I use this baby relentlessly, and certainly don't plan on quitting. However, for my seven-year-old daughter it is her 2 way radios. She addicted to these things.
When was the last time you tried out a decent set of 2 way radios? Now wait a minute; those Dixie cups you had back when you were four, don't really count. Okay, what am I talking about. Of course they count. Those were like the caveman version of what we toy around with these days. However, sometimes that string between them just wasn't long enough. And you know what that meant; no long distance calls.
Okay, now I'm just being down right weird. Regardless of the old-school method of transmitting messages, today we have much better technology. For example, have you seen those sweet new 2 way radios from Motorola? Those babies are the bomb. I couldn't help but purchase a pair for my daughter and me. We love to play games around the house and pretend we're working covert operations for a secret government agency.
With 2 way radios we can be in totally different areas and still have the ability to communicate well with one another. Not to mention that these are ideal for children when it comes to safety. Imagine all that you could do with a fine set of 2 way radios. Pass one to your child when he/she steps out that door to play alone in the yard. Every once in a while you can send a quick message, inquiring their status.
This is a great way to keep up with your little ones and keep them safe. With a contemporary set of 2 way radios, they will just think you're playing a fun game with them. Hop online today and check out all the 2 way radios available.

12 Step Program
The 12-step program is a remarkable entity. The 12-step program is a longstanding, widely offered and used device for recovery. The 12-step program, to put it right out there, is a life saver. Originating with two alcoholics (Bob and Bill) who realized helping each other and following some principles (and abstaining) and a higher power (of your choice) would help many needing to heal from the throes of alcoholism, the 12-step program began as Alcoholics Anonymous.
Here are the 12 steps anonymous “members” follow:
1. We admitted we were powerless over our addiction - that our lives had become unmanageable
2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity
3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood God
4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves
5. Admitted to God, to ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs
6. Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character
7. Humbly asked God to remove our shortcomings
8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all
9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others
10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it
11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood God, praying only for knowledge of God's will for us and the power to carry that out
12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to other addicts, and to practice these principles in all our affairs….
The 12-step program is anonymous, puts “principles before personalities,” and costs nothing (a basket is passed at meetings, and you contribute if you wish).
The 12-step program suggests a process, which includes, of course, taking nothing, following the steps, and getting a sponsor. As it is always controversial to describe and define in individual terms, I will just leave you with what I recall best of 12-step recovery: as one recovering/recovered addict always said, “Just don’t take nothing and don’t hurt nobody.” He also said, to those new to the process, “Sit down, shut up, and listen.” That’s all you have to do.

Seashells
You should be sure to know all about seashells before buying them, or you are likely to be taken advantage of because of your ignorance of the subject. I have spent hours and hours combing the beech and, take it from me, people pay ridiculous amounts of money for absolute junk all of the time. Why, I can tell you, for example, that those same sand dollars that I find in droves on the sea shores of the San Francisco bay area, people are buying for 5, 10, or even more dollars. I mean, perhaps its worth a few bucks to find them, clean them up, and make them convenient by selling them at the store, but if you know anything about seashells or other marine products, you will make wise purchases, unless you live so far away that there is no alternative but to buy them for exhorbinant rates.
Of course, seashells can be bought, ordered, or found for all kinds of purposes. They can be used for decorations, making excellent tools in collage. They can be used as ornamental soap trays, as wall hangings, to adorn jewlery and clothing. They can be even hung as wind chimes which make a delightful noise when the breeze blows through them.
There is not much about seashells not to like, honestly. They begin their life as the homes of crabs, clams, mussels, and the like, but end them as fine works of art, each individually tailored by the master crafter, mother nature, fit for admiration by young and old alike. I've been fascinating by seashells since I was ten years old and first took a journey to the water. Gazing into that deep blue sea, who could help being fascinated by the intricate and amazing existences of the creatures that live inside it.

Stretch Marks
Don't you hate grooming? I mean we do it everyday. It's this never-ending redundant regime that just keeps us busy every single morning. What is it all about anyway? We're all trying to look perfect so that the world will accept us? It just seems so shallow if you truly sit down and think about it. Okay, so I'll admit that certain grooming and cleaning rituals are necessary each day so that we don't start resembling cave men. However...
What do you know about stretch marks? Are you aware that they're caused by your body trying to adapt to a new situation? That's right; our bodies sometimes undergo sudden or abrupt changes that happen so quickly. This in turn causes dreadful stretch marks. You know what else you should know about stretch marks?
They are rather difficult to get rid of. Just ask my wife. Now that she had children, she inevitably deals with stretch marks around her breasts. This is completely normal if you breast feed your little ones. In my personal opinion it's no big deal. I love her the way she is. However, she is not so at ease with the whole concept. In fact, she is constantly looking for new information about stretch marks.
Eventually she would like to be rid of them for good. Well, the good news is that doctors and specialists are always developing new ways to deal with dilemmas such as stretch marks. From creams, to lotions, to surgery, there are a few methods in the works. So, are you searching high and low for more facts about stretch marks? Are you a mother of five, who grapples daily with the burden of stretch marks, but can hardly stand it any longer?
Well, maybe it's time to take action. Have you spoken with your family doctor? This is always a good first step in learning about stretch marks and any other physical afflictions. Maybe now it's time to get jacked into the World-Wide-Web. In cyberspace you will find oodles of information about stretch marks and upcoming treatments.
